Achieve Mentor

Achieve Mentors work directly with Austin Achieve scholars in the classroom. They serve as reading support instructors, assist teachers, serve as subject matter experts for their chosen career, and beyond.

Mentoring opportunities are available in multiple class subjects throughout the day, Monday-Thursday. We ask that mentors make a consistent commitment to volunteer at the same time and day each week, for a minimum of six weeks.

Internships

University students can earn academic credit by interning at Austin Achieve. They serve as direct support to our scholars and teachers and internships can be tailored to specific majors.

We ask that all interns commit to serving 5-10 hours per week for eight to twelve weeks.

Group Give Back days are typically held on weekend mornings.
