Re-registration allows parents/guardians to verify and update contact information, emergency contacts and health information for each child as well as complete required district forms and documents. This is required for ALL scholars attending Austin Achieve Public Schools except current graduating seniors.
You must submit an online re-registration form for each child enrolled at Austin Achieve. Scholars that do not have a completed re-registration on file will not be permitted to attend school in August until re-registration is completed.

Q: What’s my Library Account number?
A: All Student Library Account numbers follow the same pattern:
AAPS + Student ID number
If your Student ID number is 123456 then your Austin Public Library Student Account number is AAPS123456.
Q: Do I have a Student Library Account card?
A: If you were new to Austin Achieve for the 2022-2023 school year, we delivered paper cards to your school in October 2022 and sent an email with your Library Account number to your Austin Achieve email.
All students who were enrolled in Austin Achieve before this year should have received their paper card in previous years. We sent emails to students in October 2022 reminding you of your card number.
Even without a paper card, you can still access all APL resources using your Student Library Account number.

Q: What if I already have a Child or Teen Card with APL?
A: You may continue to use your APL Child/Teen Card in addition to your Student Library Account.

Q: What fees are associated with the Student Library Account?
A: Receiving a Student Library Account is 100% free. Austin Public Library is also fine free. There are no fines if you renew or return something late. If an item is lost or damaged, then the parent/guardian will be held financially responsible for the lost or damaged fee.
Q: I don’t have a physical card. Can I still checkout materials from the library?
A: Yes! Visit the circulation desk at any branch with your school ID or type in your Student Library Account number (with the AAPS prefix) at one of our self-checkout kiosks.
Q: What is my password to access online resources?
A: As long as you have never logged in and changed it, your password is AAPS123. If you need help with your password, contact APL Customer Service at 512-974-7475.
