AmeriCorps & Austin Achieve logos

Austin Achieve is proud to sponsor an AmeriCorps program at all of our campuses. This school year, 20 AmeriCorps members are joining the Austin Achieve team to provide reading intervention to elementary, middle school, and high school scholars who are reading below grade-level proficiency. AmeriCorps members are trained in research-based curricula, Leveled Literacy Intervention and SIPPS, and work one-on-one and in small groups with scholars to help them meet their reading goals for the school year. During the 2024-25 school year, 42% of scholars grew a year or more in reading proficiency!

Members who serve for 1 or 2 years at Austin Achieve earn a living allowance during the school year and are eligible for education award at the conclusion of their service term.
