What Is Texas Incentive Allotment?

TIA was established by HB3 during the 86th Legislature with the goal to give teachers access to attaining a 6 figure salary. TIA allows Local Education Agencies to develop a local designation system to identify and designate outstanding teachers based on teacher observation and student growth. Designations generate funding for districts to reward teachers. For more information go to tiatexas.org.
